Tale Behind The Artwork

Bast, the cat goddess, was a very ancient deity, she has been identified in the antiquities of the second dynasty that means that she was worshipped as long ago as 3200 B.C . Her cult was at   Delta, at the city of bubastis,  one myth says that bast accompanied the solar baroque through the regions of night. and nightly gave battle to the serpent a pep, the enemy of RE.
